Water Quality Parameters

Numerous young students stand on a bridge overlooking a creek, while two students stand in the creek itself taking a water sample. Similar to checking the temperature and blood pressure of a human to assess health, water has several parameters that are measured to determine the condition of a water body. Our data sonde contains seven sensors, which measure many of the standard water quality parameters used in aquatic science.  For background information on the specific parameters, click on the buttons to the left.
